Uncle Milton Anteater Bug Vac

I hate bugs and so don’t primarily most of the adult people I know, especially my co-workers. However, my son, is obsessed with bugs. He points out the spiders, ants and insects every morning as we walk down our outside stairs. He find them everywhere, and wants to sit and watch them, all the time.

The Uncle Milton Anteater Bug Vac, which is part of the Nat Geo Wild line, allows kids to gently vaccuum up different bugs and insects with the push of a simple button. The bug vac then safely contains the insects in a clear container that has a magnifying lens. Afterwards, by pushing the small lever on the clear box, the insect can be returned to the wild.

I’m definitely not lying when I say that I brought this into work so we could happily remove some of the insects crawling around our office space. The toy did freak out some of my co-workers at first because they didn’t know what it was given it’s realistic looks, but I find it to be such a more humane way of removing unwanted bugs, because now I never have to use my fingers to touch them!

This requires 4 “AA” batteries that are not included and is recommended for kids ages 5 and up.

Uncle Milton provided this bug vac free to facilitate this review. The opinions are my own.
