Years ago I remember boys showing me the shiny silver duct tape wallets they would make with their friends in Cub Scouts. With the trend in personalization, duct tape projects for kids are a great way for kids to design and decorate their belongings in preparation for heading back to school.
Especially since now there is duct tape available in almost every color imaginable! Aside from some super cute chevron and paisley patterns, there is now character duct tape featuring your child’s favorite characters like Superman, Batman, Monster High and Barbie!
Scotch Duct Tape is having a back-to-school contest for kids who create a project using Scotch Duct Tape. After uploading the photo to the project gallery on Facebook, judges will determine the winner by the best use of Scotch Duct tape, overall impact, creativity, back-to-school theme and consumer appeal. The website includes all the directions to enter as well as ideas of inspiration.
First place winner will receive $1,000 gift card. Second Place will win $500 gift card, 3rd and 4th place win $250 gift card.
Get creating and enter on the Scotch Duct Tape Facebook Page here by August 18th, 2014.
