Kinetic Sand Sales Raise Money for Autism Speaks

When I was asked by Spinmaster to share a few words about how much I love Kinetic Sand, it wasn’t hard.

As an occupational therapist, I use this amazing product almost every day I work with children in the school system. Kids beg me to use it, and not only is it an amazing incentive and reward for them to attend to activities that are challenging, I’ve seen how quickly a child who is overstimulated or overwhelmed can be calmed, by manipulating this texture. Aside from LEGO building, this is one of the only toys that can keep my own son entertained for a significant amount of time.

This week, Spinmaster, the company behind Kinetic Sand, launched a partnership with Autism Speaks.

Monies received from the sales of Kinetic Sand will be donated to Autism Speaks, an organization that is committed to raising money and funding to help children and families with Autism.
