Keriann Wilmot, OTR/L — known online as The ToyQueen — is a pediatric occupational therapist, toy expert, and special needs parent. Her expertise is sought after by toy companies, parenting media, and educational organizations across the country.

Keriann is a full-time pediatric OT with more than 23 years of clinical experience. She specializes in working with infants, young children, and their families navigating ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, and physical disabilities. Her goal: educate parents, and help children and young adults learn the skills they need to be as independent as possible — at home, at school, and out in the community.

Over the years, Keriann developed a knack for finding developmental toys that build real skills in fun, natural, playful ways. In 2009, she and her husband Derek — a photographer and multimedia specialist — decided to combine their talents and create a resource for parents who needed someone they could trust about toys. ToyQueen.com was born.

Today, ToyQueen lives across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest — with toy reviews, recommendations, games, attractions, and play experiences from around the world. The mission is the same as it was on day one: help every parent and caregiver find practical ways to play with their children, every day.

Keriann’s first book — Wired Differently: A Teacher’s Guide to Understanding Sensory Processing Issues — was published by Gryphon House in September 2020. Her second book, Fine Motor Foundations, is currently in development with the same publisher.
