Our lifetime for generations has been filled with all sorts of “masked” superheroes like Spiderman, Batman and Superman who help law enforcement “catch the bad guys,” then fly off before returning to their human selves.
Max Steel is one of the latest television superheroes that’s aired on the Disney XD channel. Max McMcGrath is a teenage high school student who joins forces with Steel, an alien life-form. Max generates power and when they “Go TURBO!” their powerful forces are joined together to defeat evil forces with skill and humor.
Max Steel can be viewed on Disney XD and is recommended for children ages 7 and up. The episodes have a lot of boy humor but they do include some serious looking bad guys. As Gavin’s older I’m learning to preview what he’s watching prior, but that being said, my husband and I grew up in the ages of Star Wars, GI Joe, Voltron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man and Transformers. When the time is right, I can totally envision my husband watching these types of shows together with my son.
Mattel has created an entire line of toys, books and gaming experiences for children who want to embody Max and Steel’s superpowers in their pretend play. On it’s own, the Max Steel Interactive Steel with Turbo Sword has cool blue lights and it makes a various sounds. When Steel is attached to the sword with a simple twist motion, Max and Steel “get turbofied,” and this unlocks different phrases and sounds when used during action play.
Even at 4, Gavin knew exactly what to do with the sword. For kid’s who also aren’t into Max Steel per se, I also think that this particular toy would make a really cool accessory for a fun Halloween costume. Though he’s too young to view any of the Max Steel episodes and I’ll wait to expose him to some of the more interactive shows with bad guys and weapons, little boys have an innate sense that drives them toward this type of action play. Having been in daycare for his entire existence, he’s exposed to the interests of other children who have older siblings. Even before he used this sword, our extra vacuum cleaner attachments served the same purpose.

Jefferson Smith has been promoted to the new leader of N Tech and is shown to have married Katharine. he is also the new CEO of Trans Human Industries after Forge and Molly retired from work. Josh also has Steel as his partner and they defeat an evil man named John Dread who is a clone and son to Miles Dread. he vows revenge and plans to defeat the new max steel with his own evil army. another new agent named Jean Marion is the new second in command of N Tech. he is a soft spoken man who briefs agents on various missions. John Dread has an assistant named Marco Nathan Son who was a normal guy until Josh used turbo energy by accident and made Marco’s body into a mutated freak. there is Smiley Psycho an evil clown who is a psychopath who is a bionic infused man wearing a mask to hide himself. the stranger is another new threat who is similar to psycho and is a mercenary terrorist. Vitriol is a man who works with psycho and he can shoot green energy beams from his eyes. Lance Reamer is a former pilot who calls himself the king of the sky after building an airplane all by himself . he planned to steal other airplanes until Max Steel stopped him and he was arrested. Bret Grimes was a sports manager to athletes and he forced many athletes to steal and take computer chips. he escapes jail and being caught by Max steel with help from John Dread. Fernando Carrels is a leader of a group of pirates who plan to take treasure on an island by using a earthquake machine to steal many precious gems found on it. he is defeated by max steel. another villain Clark Ash Worth who was fired from a high ranking government job and planned to use a weapon called the disrupt to destroy the white house. he was defeated by Max Steel.Richard shine is another villain who plan destroy a park and make a new one but is defeated by max steel and arrested. Serge Dena Rouge was a car racer who had a long grudge with Jeremy MCGrath who was a motor cross champion and kept it so long that he planned to kidnap anyone with the name MCGrafth and challenge them all to a deadly race in the Sahara Desert. Chang is another new villain an expert from China who knows about martial arts and works for John. Dexter is another villain who planned for Max steel to get hypnotized and kill two civilians named Scott and Montgomery for a plan of revenge against them for bullying him until Dexter went berserk and the new max steel stopped him.
there is also a new bio constrictor a different one but similar origins Dr Klimo was testing on snake venom which became tainted by Josh’s turbo energy and he injected it to become a mutated snake like hybrid and a new Electrifier in the form of two siblings Annabelle and Woody. woody broke his leg while racing Josh on a mountain bike and Annabelle sought revenge for her brother and suffered a lab accident and her body was never found but a rogue ultra link found her and fused her with the power to control electricity and both Woody and Annabelle Malinowski planned to take down Max Steel and built an army of robots to help them get revenge on Max Steel and take over Cooper Canyon as well.
