We saw Zootopia as a family on the day it was released in theaters and my husband and I definitely had some major comic relief. These days, in the wake of many scary and traumatic life situations that are happening to those around us, on a national and personal level, finding time to unwind as a family, take a moment to laugh and find some inspiration for the future is very important.
I know I am just as guilty. I am a very distracted parent myself, but let’s all vow to time to spend more time with our family members, whether it be playing along with them, trying to beat them at a family name, or just relaxing while watching a family movie. More and more than I’d like to admit our time together is just to short. If you haven’t seen Zootopia, then definitely watch it, we all need to be inspired by little miss Judy Hopps!
If you are fans of the movie, then don’t forget to check out some of the great Zootopia toys. Kids love to re-enact their favorite movie scenes, and bring their favorite characters with them on adventures to dreamland or the grocery store.
Zootopia toys include many talking plush animals (Judy and Nick Wilde), lots of small action figures and some awesome vehicles. Judy’s Police Cruiser has lights that flash when the toy is in action. My personal favorite though, is Judy’s Meter Maid Pursuit. Many kids love cool vehicles, and who wouldn’t want their own meter maid toy? Seriously!
Join along in the fun on social media and make sure you are following me on Twitter and Instagram to see new toys!
TOMY has done an amazing job, re-creating the characters and vehicles. Many of these toys have great attention to detail, so children can have a seamless transition from the movie to the playroom. TOMY is not new to designing cool transforming vehicles featured from Disney television shows and movies.
Disclosure: We were provided samples of some Zootopia toys, plus the Zootopia DVD to facilities this blog post, any opinions are my own.
