Toy Inventors Inspiring Kids Through Fun and Play At ChiTAG!

This year, we recently returned from our second trip to ChiTAG. The Chicago Toy and Game Fair is at Navy Pier, in Chicago, in mid-November. The fair, open to the public, is sponsored by many great toy companies like  Play Monster, Educational Insights, Learning Resources, Spinmaster, Smart Games, Pressman/Goliath Games, and Razor.

Kids and their families attend by visiting different booths and playing with many new toys, right before the holidays. There are many great events for kids, especially aspiring toy inventors, who can bring their invention to the fair and potentially win an award.

ChiTAG is not just about photo opportunities with Star Wars characters. You never know who you might meet.

Outside the Razor booth, where kids were taking turns patiently waiting for a spin on a scooter or the Crazy  Kart my husband and son began a conversation with Ali ___, one of the toy inventors at Razor.

Everyone, Meet Ali. YouTube video.

There are some experiences we pay for our children to participate in  in your life

As a parent I often feel like I’m boring my son with the same old information, about what it takes to be successful as an adult. And then, in a 15 minute by-chance meeting with Ali, I’ve never been more inspired.
