Thank You FedEx!
In mid-December I attended an event, sponsored by FedEx, at one of their FedEx office locations that provided some great strategies with regard to shipping FedEx and to promote the launch of their new Out of Office Blog. At the event we were provided with an item to ship anywhere in the United States to assist with our review, so needless to say my best friend in Florida was pleasantly surprised a few days later to an unexpected package at her door! A store credit was also allocated to purchase items from within the store. I chose to continue the experience with using FedEx services and used the credit to create our family’s first holiday greeting card.
With my husband’s line of work we are often shipping expensive equipment and photographs over night, so we have personally had a FedEx account for as long as I can remember. We have made multiple late night trips to the airport shipping location to ensure our packages were delivered safely the next morning, so based on personal experience FedEx has proved itself to be the most reliable service in a time crunch!
Within two weeks of attending this event, FedEx has continued to save our lives on more than one occasion.
Being that my husband is a professional photographer, we are often challenged to print pictures at local establishments that are color corrected to our liking. The staff member at the FedEx location was unbelievable with understanding our professional needs to create a card we were proud to share with our family and friends. We have never had this type of service at local one-hour establishments. The credit had to be utilized at the location of the event, which was 40 minutes from our home, and despite it being the busy holiday season, the store made an exception and printed our cards on the spot. Though the cards were about $10 more expensive than what we would have paid at a one hour location, it was completely worth it for the professionalism and quality card we received.
Locate your nearest FedEx office location and next time you need to ship anything, anywhere, go there! If you are shipping toys for baby gifts or birthday presents tape the batteries to the outside of the package so the toy doesn’t turn on during shipping, make sure to place another label on the inside of the package in case the outside label becomes detached and use the extra four digits with the zip code to expedite the shipping. Check out the new Out of Office blog, there are some great ideas posted there.
I wrote this review after attending an event on behalf of FedEx. I received a holiday food item and complimentary FedEx shipping for it to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me note cards and a store credit to thank me for taking the time to participate.
