Skylanders Swap Force is an amazing video game system that both kids and adults enjoy playing and collecting.
Toys are placed on a small round platform, or a portal which teleports the character into the video game. Last fall, Skylanders SwapForce characters debuted, allowing kids to mix and match the tops and bottoms to create characters with unique powers and capabilities. Though you have to own the correct video game for the system you own (Wii, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation3 or Playstation 4) all of the toys are compatible with any portal. So if kids enjoying playing with their friends, they only need to bring the toys.
Frito-Lay and Activision have teamed up to provide a great contest to Skylanders fans. Contestants can choose and name a character that will appear on shelves in 2014. The winner who submits the chosen name will also win $100,000!
To enter, go to Frito-Lay Skylanders website to choose one of the above characters, name it, and share the inspiration behind the name by March 21, 2014. In May, 3 finalists will be chosen and fans will again have an opportunity to vote on the winning name.
In addition, specially marked Frito-Lay variety packs will include coupons for select Skylanders products. This spring, variety packs will include a $5 off coupon for a Skylanders SWAP Force Starter Pack.
