Families Can Play With New Toys at ChiTAG (The Chicago Toy and Game Fair)
While my toy travels generally bring me to New York City– in just a few weeks I’m headed to Navy Pier in Chicago, as a guest of ChiTAG, the Chicago Toy and Game Fair!
I know, it drives you all nuts because most toy events I’m generally invited to require a special invite or registration that leaves everyone wondering about the secret items hidden behind closed doors.
However, ChiTAG is completely different than any other toy event, it’s family-friendly and open to the public for an inexpensive ticket fee.
If you are in the Chicago area on November 21-22, 2015, bring the entire family to Navy Pier. Aside from your children getting a jump start on the design of their holiday wishlists, as a family you can create a lot of memories together.
While you test out and pay with some of the new toys from innovative toy companies like Spinmaster, there are also a lot of activities and photo opportunities you won’t want to miss.
The Mommy and Gracie Show is unboxing toys live, there will be contests to win free stuff, plus lots of fun photo opportunities with a life-sized Tonka truck, a super-size JENGA game, and what I’m most excited for – a chance to meet Chase and Marshall on the real Paw Patroller!
There are several other events occurring throughout the weekend, such as PlayChic and the Young Inventor’s Challenge, that I’m attending as a guest of ChiTag that I can’t wait to share details with you about.
Please consider bringing your friends and family members to anyone of these unique events if you live in the Chicago area. If you can’t be there, please join in the conversation through social media and follow along with the hashtags #ChiTag and #SpinChiTag15.
