You may not have seen the post, where I pretty much professed my undying love for Doc McStuffins, the “Doctor Doolittle” of toys. This new Disney Junior show has won the heart of not only  my 3 year-old son, but myself. Not only does Doc creatively diagnose her toys with unique ailments, there are many takeaways when watching the show for young children who might fear visiting the doctor.

At a Disney Junior launch event at Toy Fair back in February, I previewed some of the Doc McStuffins toys that were debuted in conjunction with the launch of this show and I would have NEVER guessed how difficult they would be to find in the toy stores.  At a visit to my local Toys “R” Us this summer, there was a sign indicating that only 1 Doc McStuffins toy could be bought per person.

When I was contacted to review the Doc McStuffins “Time for Your Check-Up”  doll, I not only asked for one for review, but I knew how coveted this doll was, and I can’t tell you how excited I was they agreed to provide another for a giveaway!

The Doc McStuffins “Time for Your Check-Up” doll set includes a Doc McStuffin’s doll, Lambie figure, and medical tools to use for a check-up. The doll sings the “Time for Your Check-Up”  song from the show. Lambie will also respond to the individual check-up tools when her heart is checked with the stethoscope or her ears are checked with the otoscope. The thermometer makes her giggle.

This particular toy has already been named to Toys “R” Us’s list of hot holiday toys for 2012, so I wouldn’t expect to find many hanging around on the shelves of the store. They are already in high demand and the height of the holidays are not even here yet.

So…. now that the holidays are upon us, make sure you enter this giveaway fast, this prize retails for $39.99 and it’s surely going to be hard to find in stores. This doll is recommended for kids ages 3 and up, due to small pieces.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

I was provided with this toy free to facilitate this review. The opinions are my own. Giveaway fulfilled by the sponsor and is available only to a resident of the United States, 18 years and older.
